PLUS Products Rounds Out Brand Portfolio With New HI-CUBES Brand
In July, we announced the launch of our third edibles brand, HI-CUBES, into the California adult-use market.
Below is a quick recap of our current brand portfolio and the approach we have taken to address the needs of the many different types of cannabis users that exist in today's market.
‘Find Your Just Right’ Done Right
The Original: PLUS Gummies
The PLUS slogan – ‘Find Your Just Right’ – was developed based on our relentless drive to provide great cannabis products to all different types of users.
Within our core line of gummies, we have approached this goal by providing a wide range of THC to CBD ratios in our Balance (7:3), Uplift (1:0), and Unwind (9:1) products.
This optionality, along with the approachability of 5mg of active product per serving, is part of what made PLUS the best-selling California gummy brand in both 2018 and 2019.1
The New: CBDRelief
In February 2020, we broadened our reach with the addition of our second brand, PLUS CBDRelief. This new brand includes products specifically formulated to target the one-third of consumers that look to cannabis for relief from pain, stress and anxiety.²
PLUS CBDRelief pushes the boundaries of cannabis-derived CBD edibles with our Tart Cherry 18:1 product that has 18mg of CBD and 1mg of THC packed into each gummy. The lineup also includes a Tropical Mango 9:1 with 9mg of CBD and 1mg of THC, and a Pomegranate 1:1 with 5mg of CBD and 5mg of THC for those wellness and relief consumers looking for a little extra kick.
The Newest: HI-CUBES
Rounding out our current brand portfolio is HI-CUBES, which we announced this past month.
With 10mg of THC packed into each 5 calorie serving, HI-CUBES are the most concentrated gummy products available within the California market.³ Manufactured with 100% whole-plant, full-spectrum oil, the product delivers an array of cannabinoids, flavonoids and aromatic terpenes to create a powerful effect for consumers looking for an intense cannabis experience. This new line offers consumers the same great-tasting and guilt-free product experience as PLUS gummies, with less than 1g of sugar per cube.
Why this Matters: The Portfolio
Last year, we conducted 3rd party market research and learned that there are three broad use cases for cannabis: Wellness and Relief, Get High and Have Fun, and what we have dubbed Enhance Life. We used this research, along with years of direct feedback from the market, to drive the development of CBDRelief and HI-CUBES. Today, we have a portfolio that offers an array of THC to CBD ratios, produced with various types of cannabis extract, to meet the needs of consumers across each of these categories.
We’re Not Done Yet
Keep your eye out for new product launches expected in the second half of this year as we look to refine our portfolio even further and ensure as many cannabis consumers as possible can Find Their Just Right with PLUS.
